Affordable Meals Under $10.00 (Day 3)
Friday, July 31st, 2009Hi everyone today, I want to share with you about a tactic I used yesterday that gave me great results. Because we are focused on affordable meals and beginner cooks I decided to try and get rid of some boxes of macaroni & cheese dinners. You know the small boxes that you would buy for the kids when you want to make something quick and easy. Anyway, I took two of these boxes and followed the directions on it. I never did like that pouch with the powdered cheese sauce in it but now, I realize it helps out a lot. The only thing you need to add is milk and butter.

Another great product from Cincopa
Hey there everyone hope all is well. Today, I was in the mood for my favorite, which is seafood. No matter what kind of seafood, I love it. So today, I had some left over shrimp and I decided to fry them up. Most of the time, I don’t like to fry shrimp because the batters are always to thick. Last week I was out shopping and picked up some Tempura batter mix by McCormick. What a fantastic taste. The shrimps were not thick with batter it was like they just melted in your mouth. This actually was a very affordable meal. I always wait till I catch the shrimp on sale because we use them in a lot of dishes at my house. Also, another good investment are the Season french fries they have a very good taste and are well seasoned. This is also a meal you might want to fix for your girl’s night out, or like me when I’m chillin lookin at a good movie I like to snack and eat whatever my taste buds are demanding. So Try this out and play around with your sauces or whatever you like to dip shrimp in.
